Skin care information · free to read

Read the label before you read the hype.

Plain-language guides to ingredient lists, sun protection claims and simple routines, so a skin care shelf reads like a list of facts. No products for sale, no medical claims, no sales calls.

Three questions before you buy anything.

  1. 1

What type of product is it?

Cleanser, moisturizer or sunscreen? Knowing the job makes the shelf shorter.

  2. 2

What is in the first five?

The first ingredients make up most of the product. Start the comparison there.

  3. 3

    What do the directions say?

How much, how often and where. The directions are part of the product.
